GET INVOLVED

It is the mission of the Thisbe and Noah Scott Foundation to promote research, awareness, and support for families of pediatric neuromuscular diseases in general and motor neuron diseases like Brown-Vialetto-Van Laere in specific.

Two children. One disease. Their voices inspire thousands.
May their legacy cure millions.

WHAT IS A MIGHTY VOICE: Fundraiser for Children's Neuromuscular Diseases?

A Mighty Voice is a multi-city annual fundraiser which began in Jackson, Mississippi, on June 13, 2008, and stretched to Nashville, Tennesse; Phoenix, Arizona; Memphis, Tennessee, and to other cities in between by the fall of 2009. Friends of the Scott family created the fundraiser as a grassroots organization solely dedicated to aiding the mission first of The Olive Branch Fund, then of the Thisbe and Noah Scott Foundation. To date, A Mighty Voice persists in gathering national momentum.

Laurian and John Scott continue to meet with some of the leading geneticists and neuromuscular researchers in the world, and combined they all have the same agenda: curing pediatric neuromuscular diseases. With the help of A Mighty Voice, the Thisbe and Noah Scott Foundation will be able to carry out Thisbe and Noah’s legacy of compassion, awareness and research to other families suffering from similar types of diseases. As their parents, the Scotts can think of no better way to honor their children’s lives than to find a cure.
