Laurian and John Scott created the Thisbe & Noah Scott Foundation to promote research, awareness, and support for families affected by pediatric neuromuscular diseases in memory of their children, Thisbe and Noah. Thisbe and Noah passed away at young ages of a rare type of motor neuron diseases, BVVL, which is under the category of neuromuscular diseases.
